Southeast Clergy Meals on Wheels
Since 1976

What we do: Provide nutritious meals at a reasonable cost to those in the 44146 ZIP code of Bedford, Bedford Hts., Oakwood Village and Walton Hills, Ohio, who are unable to shop and/or prepare adequate meals for themselves. This service enables each person to maintain or resume independent living in their own home.

SE Clergy Meals on Wheels is an Ohio non-profit corporation designated a 501(c)3. We receive no federal funding or other government reimbursement.

We are an independent, all volunteer service which relies upon donations from the community, businesses, private donors and our own client donations to sustain us.

Operating during a pandemic

Our Meals on Wheels program has had to undergo some major changes in order to continue providing nutritious meals to all of our clients. After 44 years of delivering hot meals daily, beginning on March 31, 2020 we have concentrated our service to one day a week. Each Tuesday we bring a week’s worth of groceries — frozen meals and shelf stable products along with dairy and produce to each of our homebound clients.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Greater Cleveland Foodbank for its generous offering of food boxes for our clients, USDA dairy and produce boxes, Meals on Wheels America for two COVID-19 emergency grants, and donors large and small for helping our program continue to operate during this difficult time.
